WHAT TO EXPECT
Zion Lutheran Church is…
a Bible Centered Church where you will encounter God’s powerful grace and truth in a casual setting. Worship lasts about an hour or less, with great music and practical Biblical teaching.
Dress casually; everybody does! And take a look around. There are married couples, singles, young people, older people, professionals, laborers, single moms, single dads; many different kinds of people come to Zion, and each has a unique life story, just like you do.
We project the songs up front, along with anything else you need to know, so you won’t get lost in a bulletin or a hymnal. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you’re welcome to walk your next steps at Zion Lutheran Church!
While many churches have a traditional and contemporary service, we choose to have one style of worship – our Zion Blend with the best of the old traditional hymns, and the best of the new contemporary songs. We tend to believe that having two styles of worship services unnecessarily divides the congregation into two groups that want worship to be about using songs from their “play list.” We believe that young people need to know the classic hymns of Amazing Grace, Great is Thy Faithfulness, and Children of the Heavenly Father. And older people need to know Mighty to Save, Beautiful Name, and Shout to the Lord. Grandkids need to know their grandparent’s “play list” and vice versa!
